Saw the Ice Cream truck at Target at Metrotown last night scanned it and it rang up as $27.99. I didn't take it so might still be there if anyone is interested (the Lego aisle is still looking quite bare there).

I saw similar pricing at the Vernon BC Canadian Superstore: Movie Ice Cream Truck $19.94, but Castle and Garbage Truck still $27.94. Bad COP Pursuit was $24.94.

we lost a lot of posts!

Went to Target today.. no price decreases at all.. it's actually a mess.. a lot of the scanners weren't working! Someone definitely bought a lot over the weekend, because the shelves are pretty bare now

^I am thinking that folks heard the news of Targets closing so they assumed clearance started already (which of course it hasn't) and that's how they ended up in stores... nothing like free advertising...

Mostly scrappers, resellers THINKING they can price adjust once Target go into liquidation mode. Silly people.

Do you mean "scalper"? A scrapper sells metal, a scalper resells purchased goods at a higher rate.

The shelves were bare last week BEFORE they announced they were closing.

Thankyou for the catch, yes scalper or resellers. But I believe they can still be called scrappers because they are those who removes or does away with scraps figuratively.

"What’s in stores now is largely what shoppers will see deals on, with no new merchandise coming in from suppliers. Additional merchandise located at three distribution centres will find its way into stores in the coming weeks as well.

As part of its application to an Ontario bankruptcy court, Target has immediately cancelled all purchase orders from Canadian and U.S. vendors that haven’t been shipped, and on orders with overseas vendors if the title of goods hasn’t yet passed.
" - Global News

Also said discounts will start in 2-3 weeks with a Canada exit before the end of April.

^ they can't start liquidating until they have court approval on the process.

hopefully some people can find some good deals but my experience with Target nearby is that the shelves are almost bare at the best of time. I don't foresee even trying to find any deals.
