TRU Canada Non-Sale December 4th - 10th 2015

Post by hatcher » Fri Dec 04, 2015 10:31 am

Yeah, so nothing actually on sale, BUT:

If you spend $25 on Star Wars LEGO you get a free Force Awakens C-3P0 polybag!!!!!!!

There is also a spend $50 on Lego get a gift card. I think its $10, and there are probably restrictions on what you can buy and when,

but FORCE AWAKENS C-3PO!!!!

I would strongly advise anybody interested in this to get on this quickly. I picked up a couple last month in the States and the figure is amazing. The printing, the leg and arm printing especially really are terrific.

Thanks for the heads up. I got 1 in Langley BC, and they still had a few more.

Thanks for the post. I did not receive the flyer. I almost miss this promo polybag.

It is not bad by only spending $25 to get it. A better deal than 20% off.

75109
75040
75081
75080

Some quick suggestions. All priced at $29.99.
Otherwise, some mixing and matching will be required to get over the $25 threshold.

YMMV, but you could try picking up a $24.99 set, and if the cashier is asking for a donation to some charity, donate a dollar, and point out that puts you over the $25 mark. That worked for me I believe with the Hulk minifig a couple months ago.

The minifigure is does not scan. So, they can't say the system will not let me pass it. So. if you buy a set of $24.99, then just pay $25 cash. This worked for me.

Microfighters are $13, so get two.

I bought the T-16 set for $30 since it comes a unique minifigure (Sandperson) to get my C-3P0.

Went to TRU in Red Deer, they didnt have anything I wanted or didnt already have so I bought two 75088s @ $15.99 a piece, then returned them to Walmart for a Giftcard @ $15.86 a piece, which I'll use when the new battlepacks come out later this month. So basically I paid 26 cents for C3P0

Its lame that the polybag is only with Star Wars sets or else I woulda bought the Big Bang set, good bunch of minifigs IMO

How can you bought from TRU then returned at Walmart?

I picked up the last two boxes of 75035 Kashyyyk Troopers battle pack. The damage is $31.98. This box set is now getting hard to find at local retailers. I am very curious how high its value will reach in next 2-3 years. This will be part of my investment. I will open them up to recreate the battle scene if the mkt value is under my expectation; however, I need to collect more Wookie first. Let's wait and see. ;-)

Some Walmarts are lenient with returns without receipts. They issue gift cards for the returns.
YMMV

I have not seen them at 2 of the local London Drugs after summer. You were so lucky catching the deal.
