Canadian Tire 40% off (YMMV)

I was at the South Vancouver Canadian Tire today and they had 40-50% off all the toys. Most of the lego had already been plundered but there were still 3 or 4 Malevolence (9515) sets left for 40% off at 89.99. I marked this thread as YMMV because I then went to another Canadian Tire (Grandview) and they did not have a sale on... Just thought I'd post this to help anyone whos after the Malevolence which is pretty overpriced at MSRP in my eyes.

My local Canadia Tire does not carry any Lego set, and I had no idea why it doesn't.

Please keep this thread updated. It is hard for me to keep going out to check the store while the traffic now is horrible.

Calgary AB, Beacon hill, has lego but its not on any sale.

You're definitely not alone. CT doesn't exist on my list when I think about Lego.

Been to three different CTs around Toronto but none had Lego at 50% off, all were 40% off while other toys were 50%. I asked an employee if they were going to drop to 50% off but they didn't think so. Wondering if your CT made a mistake and just included Lego in the 50% lot. Lucky for you if they did.

Agree! The one I went to today also have them at 40% only. I did not bother asking when they will go on for 50% off since there were not much left anyways. If they would goto 50% or more, it would be on boxing day or after.

Could be all sold out since the one I went to were pretty cleared out and only have like a couple sets left. Maybe alot of people finally get to used up their CT money.

That's because it's clearance and not a sale. Since the stores are privately owned they have control on what they clearance out. If it was a actual advertised sale, every store would have the same items on sale.

Vancouver - Cambie & Broadway location has no lego. Suspect they didn't have any to start off with.
