LEGO Shop Boxing Day Deals?
Will there be a Boxing Day sale on S@H this year?
The TRU sale let me down this year so I'm hoping for something a bit better from LEGO themselves.

That's too bad that Canadian TRU doesn't have as good of deals as US TRU. Maybe Boxing Day will be better to you.

Looks like Canada will get double cash back through ebates (5% rather than 2.5%) based on an email i just got.

Re: LEGO Shop Boxing Day Deals?
There are some items I want on the list, but the worst thing is that most of these items are already sold out online. Unless LEGO has stock hidden in the back just for this sale, your best bet to get a discount is to go to a LEGO store.
Re: LEGO Shop Boxing Day Deals?
^ totally agree - your best bet is to go to the store. I would go out on a hinge and say that the vast majority of the items above is sold out online... plus you will have to pay for shipping which almost kills any deal you're going to get.

Re: LEGO Shop Boxing Day Deals?
I have a hunch that Canada will have a slightly better sale, Because this list is for the US and starts on Dec.25, while the Canada Boxing day sale is one day only on the 26, and says "surprise savings" and "Lego store in Canada only"

Re: LEGO Shop Boxing Day Deals?
I can confirm that the LEGO stores in Canada will be offering scratch cards with every transaction. 10%, 20% or 50% cards will be available. No minimum purchase.
Re: LEGO Shop Boxing Day Deals?
Hmm, it might be worth a trip to the store on Wednesday. What time they open?
Re: LEGO Shop Boxing Day Deals?
Nope, the boxing day TRU flyer is out already, and it is 40% off on selected overpriced Star Wars sets.sadowsk1 wrote:That's too bad that Canadian TRU doesn't have as good of deals as US TRU. Maybe Boxing Day will be better to you.

I overheard the employee talking and he said 8am for the Vancouver store. I guess it really depends on your local mall.dr_spock wrote:Hmm, it might be worth a trip to the store on Wednesday. What time they open?

Re: LEGO Shop Boxing Day Deals?
To be honest, none of the big electronic stores are offering "eye-popping" deals these past years. The stuff that is in the Boxing Day flyers show up regularly in the weekly flyers and sometimes even cheaper.Bricksareforme wrote:Holy doodles. 8 am? Yikes! Might be lines as bad as futureshop! I don't think boxing day is now a "sale day" but rather "wake up early and line up for items that aren't even discounted day" lol.
Re: LEGO Shop Boxing Day Deals?
I'd have to agree and many of the electronics that are in fact on sale are old stock or refurbished. When there is a good deal, the store usually has 'limited' stock of them if any at all. Just my 2-cents on Boxing Week shopping. Personally, I'd rather go cross-border shopping for everyday dealsLegobrandon wrote:To be honest, none of the big electronic stores are offering "eye-popping" deals these past years. Do you know if this will be applied on top of the 20% set discounts that are happening after Christmas day? thanks!Legobrandon wrote:I can confirm that the LEGO stores in Canada will be offering scratch cards with every transaction. 10%, 20% or 50% cards will be available. No minimum purchase.
