[Canada] Sears Instores LEGO Boxing Week Sale 2012
This year, Sears Canada stores will be offering Buy 1 Get 1 FREE on ALL Toys for their Boxing Week sale. Second item must be of equal or lesser value and applies to regular priced items only. Sale is valid from December 26 to January 3, 2013. Most stores open at 6am on Boxing Day.
As we all know, Sears removed their Toys Department earlier this summer. If you visited a Sears store during the past few weeks, you may have noticed that they have added a small "temporary" toys department for the holidays. Instead of carrying a variety of products, they only carry a few items for each toy brand. In the case of LEGO, most Sears stores were carrying these items during the holiday season. As always, selection will vary depending on your store.
Ninjago Training Set / Weapon Pack (reg.$24.99)
Star Wars Republic-class Striker Class Starfighter (reg.$49.99)
Star Wars Tie Fighter (reg.$69.99)
Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter (reg.$74.99)
Note: The online Sears.ca site will only be offering 20% off select LEGO. You can see all of the LEGO items on sale here.

This is potentially really hot...but the problem is I'm not sure where and which location would have a half decent selection. Out of the ones you listed above, only the Tie Fighter I want...
Re: [Canada] Sears Instores LEGO Boxing Week Sale 2012
Only set I've seen at Sears is the Tie Fighter.

Seems like I might go out tomorrow...
I didn't even know Sears had LEGO.

They do have LEGO - seasonal only. Really depends on the store - your best bet is to buy two of the same sets as they likely don't have two different sets for the same price.

Yeah well in Quebec, I don't really any other store than Toys R Us that actually sells decent LEGO set.
Re: [Canada] Sears Instores LEGO Boxing Week Sale 2012
They did, I remember someone posted on here that most Sears cleared out their remainning toys at 50% off a few months back.MoneyHypeMike wrote:Seems like I might go out tomorrow...

Before you head out to Sears at 6am, make sure you check the opening hours on sears.ca. The stores around me don't open until 1pm...

I'm in Langley BC and the Langley store opens at 6:00AM, looks like an early wake up call tomorrow!

You should bring the flyer to them as it clearly says all toys buy 1 get 1 free. Its on the 3rd page.111ins wrote:I was there at 7 and they had x wings and tie fighters, but only bogo50% off...

Re: [Canada] Sears Instores LEGO Boxing Week Sale 2012
If they discount prior the buy one get one free doesn't apply as it's only regular priced toys - so if they discount it $5 prior (i.e. instead of $69.99 they put it to $64.99) they won't have to meet the advertised deal.
Not a nice move on their behalf but that's how they get around it.

I was at Sears Langley and Guilford this morning, had x-wing, tie fighter and republic striker, all buy 1 get 1! Got 2 of each.. langley only had the Republic striker, but Guilford had all 3 sets. Got the last two x-wings at guilford tho, sorry! Still had about 10 tie fighters and 10 republic strikers as of 7:30 this morning. Would have bought them all if I had the means... you might have a chance still, it was a ghost town (guilford) at 7:00 am

Oakville ON had lots of the Tie Fighters and a number of the Ninjago Training Sets still @ 11:30am. I picked up the last X-Wing Starfighter they had.
Re: [Canada] Sears Instores LEGO Boxing Week Sale 2012
I got the two last Lego sets from the Sears in Boisbriand, Québec. The ones I wanted too. Tie fighter 9492. Got the buy one get one free deal, regular price 69.99. Not bad!
I feel really lucky to have found them. They were on a table next to the catalogue counter, containing all the toy department scraps.Only found that because I needed to use the washroom and it was next to them!!!

I was there in Calgary's Northhill store at 6:05am. Nobody was there except for a lady with a shopping cart full of toys, with 4 of the last tie fighters in her cart.....So I wasn't able to get anything.

Re: [Canada] Sears Instores LEGO Boxing Week Sale 2012
They had 10-15 of each in north of toronto sears as of 4pm today - no need to be greedy so I got 2 republic striker class fighter and 2 x wing. They were located near the washrooms in an aisle that most shoppers would not see.
Too many sears in toronto area to check out but luckily my wife and sister in law saw the lego display while shopping before christmas else I would have totally missed it. They said there was BOGO 50% off before christmas on these sets. No tie fighters to be found.

Good deal. Thanks for posting about the online sale. I was hoping for the start fighter, but picked up two tie fighters instead for $35 each.
