sears 35% off

Post by legome » Fri May 17, 2013 6:44 am

Sears has some lego at 20% off right now.. but they also have a code running through the weekend that gives you free shipping and another 15% off.. not a big selection, but you can get some half decent deals on Jabba ($120 - 15%) and a few others.

Thanks. Sadly though, even with the 15% off, most of the stuff they have on sale is still to rich for my blood.

You got to hit confirm/update status...beside the promo code. I did it and Weathertop comes out to $50.99. Also bought a whole bunch of battle packs. Thanks for the heads up Legome. Off topic, too bad the 15% of didn't work for the $199 lawn mower on sale haha.

I had a coupon before that was $10 off $50 that I used last week, but then you'd get charged $3.95 shipping so it kind of killed it.. this is much better since shipping is free over $100, plus if you factor in a rebate from an online site, and sears points if you have a sears points card, it comes up to another 3-4% off, so close to 40% off... problem is the selection of ones at 20% are slim.

Huge thanks Legome, I had checked this code this morning but I didn't get far enough into the ordering process for the discount to apply. I tried adding special instructions to have my Jabba's Palace ($102!) sent in something other then a plastic bag or nothing at all, if it comes damaged I'll keep having them send me new ones until they learn how to properly ship something.

Might take a while.. I ordered 4-5 sets a few weeks ago.. 3 of them came with exacto cuts on them when the person opened the box up. I complained, but it got me nowhere until the 6-7th email, and then they said that they would check the order coming out of the warehouse ahead of time and pack it properly.. well guess what... never happened and the same thing with the cuts happened again..

Whoops, sorry. Didn't realize this was Canada so I deleted my rant.

If you login through RedFlagDeals they have Sears.ca as a cashback store at 1.25%.
For those of you expecting prestine condition packages from Sears you can forget about it. They come shipped in Sears branded plastic bags.

When will people realize that 20% off plus an additional 15% off does not equal 35% off?

Also, the $3.95 charge is Sears' processing fee, not a shipping fee. Regardless of your order total, you will be charged the $3.95 processing fee.

Edit: You will get charged $3.95 even when you select "ship to store" for you to pick-up.

My order a few months ago was marked $3.95 as a shipping fee, and this past weekend they didn't charge me anything to ship which must have been a promo.
