If you have the patience and know you will always be buying something at chapters, order gift cards at gift cards wild or card swap for 7-12% off then go through ebates as usual and use the 25% code to buy lego. Can get about 33-35% by the time you are done depending on the absolute value of the lego set. I did this for the mindstorm nxt 2.

Yes. I've made 3 separate orders yesterday with my only acount and used the online coupon on each of them. Today, I've received email confirmations that all 3 have shipped, each at 25% off. Online coupon works only on 1 item per order, but you can use it on multiple orders.

As a result I went back on chapters website today and bought more sets

You get 8500 plum points for every 5 orders you place (minimum $20 each) with items from the kids section. It's the birthday bonus. Plum points can only be redeemed in store as far as I know.

If the Lego is available at the store, it's better to get it there vs online since you will get plum points on top whereas you get 0 if you buy online. And the 5 order bonus still applies.

Mobile Crane Mk II has gone from "Out of stock - on re-order" to "Sold out" when viewed from a search result or LEGO products page (it still says "on re-order" on the actual item listing). Don't know if that's bad, good, or neither, but I'm not getting my hopes up that it will be back in stock this week. A rep at my local store said that re-ordered items can take over a month to be back in stock.

If your chapters is like mine instore takes significantly longer to stock new lego items or don't carry them at all ( rancor pit has yet to show up so I doubt it will.)

Went to my local Chapters and picked up the Homing Spider. They also had a table filled with various Lego sets. The sales associate or manager, not sure what she was told me if I want anything on that table I could have it for 50% off the ticketed sales price. Picked up an elite clone trooper set for $6 taxes in.
They didnt have anything else really appealing but check out your local store and see what they can give u?
