Highly doubt it, but they might, after all they did got rid of alot of over stocks on Helms Deep.

They did but sold out the same day when they have them on sale, then out of stock till after the sale is over. Also someone on here mentioned retailers got a memo from Lego on what can be discounted and what can not.
And modulars and those big exclusives are on the list. I see where you are getting at now.

I also heard about the memo from Lego regarding discounts to "exclusive" items a couple months ago and I haven't seen any exclusive discounts for quite a while.

Does Amazon .ca, .com, .de, .it, .fr, .co.uk keep to that memo? I.e. is the only time of the year modulars are going to be cheaper on American Thanksgiving (next month) when they run their 10% off everything promo?

I was tempted to just go in and scan every item I have an interest in... Then I got lazy.

I know that feeling. Local TRU had a damaged Tower Bridge out, my heart jumped when I thought of all the possible prices they could of have marked this set to. Scanned it and it was MSRP.

regarding damaged/opened boxes : unless there's a red sticker price AND a TRU sticker on the bar code, it'll be MSRP

Also have free summer set (lego friends). Bought friends set for daughter and collect three freebies. One TRU has every creator on sale and other TRU has only 2 creator sets on sale and rest at regular price. Huh? Two TRU stores and two different in stores promotions? Gotta keep my eyes open. This in Mississauga and Burlington locations.

The only discount at tru is not going and saving your gas. That has to be like 3% below msrp.

^ That is very true. If it's not discounted online - it won't be discounted in store (99% likelihood).

Does anyone know if you can buy the City Lawn Mower polybag on its own?
LEGO, it's not just a toy, it's an addiction... ;)

As long as it scan, you can buy it. Just ask them to scan one.

If they were giving away the turtle exclusive from last year, I might think of getting a set for MSRP or a little more. By the way, the price is very inflated, I guess they really want to get rid of them because they got a lot of over stock from SDCC.

Exlcusive:
