Lego Store May the 4th Sale
Do you guys know what sets are going to be on sale on May the 4th? I have a few ideas, but I'm not sure.

Hopefully the Hoth set will be 50% off because everyone hates it. :)
Whatever is on sale will still be more expensive than the normal price you can find it at Amazon. :P

Lol, that poor Hoth set. If they have some of the UCS sets maybe 20% off, I'd be willing to grab them, because they also have double VIP and the exclusive polybag.Brick & Blue wrote:Hopefully the Hoth set will be 50% off because everyone hates it. :)

Be aware that list may or may not be applicable in the US.Edmond Dantes wrote:Attachment:

I have seen no such thing on the NA site, every link I have seen with those discounts are for the European market, which normally has better sales on May the Fourth every year.askthelegoguy wrote:Sh**! Really?Brick & Blue wrote:That picture is EUROPE ONLY.
So it's possible, by I won't believe it until the NA site has the discounts listed.

Has it ever taken this long though? I'm starting to think it's just keychains this year.

Is it May the 4th in NA and I just don't know it? I was pretty high yesterday but I don't think I skipped a day.
Re: Lego Store May the 4th Sale
I did go into the store yesterday and they were not aware of those 40% off sales and couldn't give me the discounts. When I looked at the URL it looked like it was setup for Germany.

I lost faith in Lego Store sales in the U.S. years ago, literally.

There is no need to have sales at S@H, just go to Target.com and save 20-40% almost every day.intromission wrote:I lost faith in Lego Store sales in the U.S. years ago, literally.
Pus the LEGO Stores have more sales than online.

Yes, the sale is lame comparing to few years ago, but......Brick & Blue wrote: There is no need to have sales at S@H, just go to Target.com and save 20-40% almost every day.
I would shop from local Lego store rather than shop from anywhere else if the deal is about the same(Local TRUs only offers 20% off, too). The employees are nice and the store comes with pick a brick wall. Besides, I can do my return easily there. Too many good reasons for having the store around. So, I would support them for keeping the store in my town.

Oh yeah, if you live near a store thats fine. Like I said they sometimes have haves even that are just at that one store. It's not like "Never go to the LEGO Store", just shop.lego.com is almost useless.legohunter wrote:Yes, the sale is lame comparing to few years ago, but......Brick & Blue wrote: There is no need to have sales at S@H, just go to Target.com and save 20-40% almost every day.

A friend of mine told me just how friendly the LEGO Store employees are... (It's not a family friendly story. )
Plus if you have a Target Red Card (it can also be a debit card) you save 5% more, and get an extra 30 days to return things. I do most of my LEGO shopping with them because of that.
