Re: Name that piece (the Brick/Minifigure identification top
For those that originally owned old lego sets, did the 1x1 round plates come in sprues?

Not that I recall... I know flower pieces did, but that's the closest thing.Pumpkin Ecks wrote:For those that originally owned old lego sets, did the 1x1 round plates come in sprues?

Poor quality picture, but I'm not even sure it's Lego, that helmet has a weird shape. Does EACH part have LEGO written on?Ajd123 wrote:I need to know where this lego guy is from. Please help.

Hi thanks for replying. I know it's lego because you can put legs on him and he sticks on other legos. Another thin the picture didn't capture was that he not only didn't have arms but no arm holes. I can't find this thing anywhere on the lego page though. And you can't remove his helmet or head to check for the lego logo. So he doesn't have lego anywhere on him.

I am fairly sure this is a clone brand. It is designed to be compatible with real LEGO elements without too closely resembling a LEGO minifig because of patents (or a trademark).
Re: Name that piece (the Brick/Minifigure identification top
Hmm. Well any idea where it's from?

Not me, I have no clue, I only go with Lego, why is it so important to know exactly what it is if it's not Lego? Seriously, not worth anything, throw it out.

Don't throw him out, throw him or her into a tin that is just full of clone brand blocks, then give it to your neighbors when it's full.

^^ wow I forgot they made them that way. I have a couple of the sprues and forgot where they came from.
Anyway, anybody know if this is Lego or not? There's no Lego markings anywhere so it could be a clone part or something really old?

The little guy with the motorcycle helmet definitely isn't an actual Lego product, but it DOES remind me of one of the official pieces.
I don't know if you guys remember, but 10-15 years ago, there were small Lego cars with a friction engine and different wheel and engine configurations (small and fast, big and slow but with more autonomy, big tractor like wheels, small slick ones...), and the driver minifigs looked like that: a miniaturised bust and a regular head.
