[Winners] for Micro Build Tournament 2011
Our Micro Build Tournament 2011 is now officially over and we have winners to announce! Before we announce who won, we would like to appreciate those that entered the contest and participated in the voting process. There were lots of great entries and some of them are amazing. Without further ado, here are the winners choosen from our forum members.
In 2nd place, we have the 10188 Death Star by Brickbuilder0937. Tons of rooms and very accurate to the real thing! Your prize package will consist of 10 collectable minifigures including the highly sought after elf.
And in 1st place, we have the 10189 Taj Mahal by akunthita. Absolutely stunning making a 5922 piece set into a 200 piece set! As the grand prize winner, you will be receiving a brand-new copy of the just released LEGO 10219 Maersk Train!

Oh! Wow! I'm a winner?! I wasn't expecting that! That is so cool! I have to get used to this!
Thank you guys for this awesome contest! It was a fun challenge! Also, I would like to thank all the other participants! I was amazed by all of the entries! I couldn't really make up my mind which one I liked the most; they were all cute, with clever parts usage, and great details!
And congratulations to you, Brickbuilder0937, have lotsa fun with your minifigs! Yours was the first entry in the contest and it really set the tone. I was like; "Wow! This is serious! I have to do my best to even come close!"
Also, thank you all for your kind words, encouragement and votes. I'm kinda new here, and I felt really welcomed! I'm gonna write about all of you guys on my blog! ;)

Congrats, akunthita - while all the entries were really well executed, your micro-rendition of Taj Mahal was masterfully executed.
