Post by Marcus70 » Thu Nov 08, 2012 4:48 pm

Been reading about there are five new Lego Castle sets scheduled for the 2nd half of 2013. :)

Brickset lists sets 70401 - 70404, to be released in August 2013.

Tee-total tease as of today. Good news though, can't wait to see them!

I've seen a few random messages here and there about Castle not being dead even with LotR going. I really expected it to just be another big set here and there (especially with MMV starting to get up there in shelf time), but a new line would be great.

Wow, great news and rather unexpected, at least to me! Bring it on!

With the switch to having all sets use five-digit numbers, I wonder what the chances of a UCS-type castle being one of those is... Here's to hoping.

I translated the page The Brickshow listed and it mentions it being part of the 'Legends' line from a few years ago. These might be revamped classics!

I agree - the wife was hoping for the potential some some more similar to Medieval Market and the Villager type stuff. Set names and now pictures do not look to be going that direction.

BLAH!

That's all I have to say. Nothing new or exciting about them. Lego has made a lot of different castles recently, you think they could make a better castle for Castle.

I really wish the black falcon knights had been used. I want a black falcon, but didn't want the joust set.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

I can't believe this castle was designed and developed by TLG. I thought I was looking at MOC from beginner.

Disappointed with these sets, I was hoping for something more along the lines of Medieval Market or the Joust set, these just don't seem exciting.
