checked out the Kitchener and Waterloo stores this morning and found 1x LOTR Pirate ship, 2x Jabba sail barge, 3x SW gunship and 4x SW at-te all at 50% off
although the SW sets were not yet re-stickered they scanned at half off

Just got back from the La Capitale store in Quebec City. I got the last AT-TE and a Sail Barge at 50%.

Still two Sail Barge left.

Was driving through North Bay today on my way home. I didn't know they had a target, so I dropped in. Managed to get a Pirate ship for 50% off and the last Gunship for 50% off. The had a bunch of At-Te's, a sail barge, a bunch of Battle of Smallvilles and a Spider droid set for clearance. A bit of a drive for most people, but I'm happy.

There was still one box of 79003 Unexpected Gathering at Toronto East York (45 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H 1C3) store today when I left at 4 p.m., YMMV.

Anyone know what day of the week Target does mark downs? I wondering if any of these sets will go below 50% and what day to check.

Don't think they have a pattern on which day to mark down the price during the week. I think it all depends on the head office instruction. Walmart used to mark down their price the 5th of each month, but then it's like there is a quota for each department (e.g. Toys department) manager to mark down their inventories each month. This month they might mark down this brand then next month would be something else. I don't think Target has the same system though.

For the longest time, Wednesday and/or Thursday were the days for toy department markdowns (at least here in The States), with one large wave of 25% off clearance starting in late June/early July. Two weeks after the first reduction it would go down to 50%, then another two weeks later to 75% off if anything was remaining. It followed that exact pattern at the Target in Newburgh, NY when they were clearing out Space Police 3 and I got three Galactic Enforcers at 50% off (didn't think I'd see them at 75% off). I even logged the date - July 22nd.

It seems it's far less predictable these days.

In Canada their Toy markdowns happen on Sundays, based on my experience.

The Target at Milton Mall had two "Battle of Smallville," set #76003 on the shelf Sunday July 13. Price was $17.49 I believe.

Price drop confirmed for Smallville 76003 at $17.99 in GTA. Sail Barge, Pirate Ship and Malibu Attack are still at the previous clearance prices.

Grrrr. Called a store specifically today and asked them to check. Said it was still the original clearance price. Sounds like either your stores are faster at dropping prices than the one I called ... or the staff there are just lazy and didn't actually check the prices for me.

Just came from Target Westdale Mall. There is no clearance Lego left at this store. :-(

All the clearance signs, and many of the clearance tickets, in place still read 50% off. If you scan the clearance items, though, pretty much everything has been further reduced. I'm guessing the person you spoke to just looked at the sign/sticker without actually scanning the item.

Which command ship is that? Do you mean the gunship?

They are more like 65-70% off. And some of the sets are still at 50%.

The first wave of mark downs to 50% are now 70%, the rest is still 50% off. Shelves are pretty much picked clean by now though.

Saw a few in Orillia yesterday.
The friends lemonade stand and lifeguard post are done to $3.89 each. The lemonade stand did not have a clearance label.

The AE-TE is now about half. It was either $60 or $65 down from $120. Just one left of those.
