[CAN] Chapters Indigo Online New Sets + $5-off Code

Chapters Indigo online store is now starting to list the new 2012 theme sets
(Dino, Friends, Super Heroes, City, Ninjago)

There's a $5-off coupon OLDEC11 still working as of this writing.

Free shipping for orders $25 and up.

The trick is to buy exactly (or close to) $25 then apply the $5-off code.
So you'll pay only $20 + tax, which is a good 20%-off.
If you're in a hurry to get some sets then this is good enough for $25-sets and smaller.
Otherwise I would wait for like the typical TRU BOGO1/2 on City sets.

Problem is, some sets are $24.95 and thus we need to find a filler (worth a dollar or two) to reach the $25 free shipping cap. Though if you are buying two sets worth $12.95 each then there should be no problem. Pls. PM me if you find a good filler.

OFF TOPIC: Some sets like the SW battle pack went from 15 last year to 17 this year for the new sets.

Chapter used to carry sets 8014/15 for $12.95 before,
then 8083/84 and 7913/14 for $14.95
now 9488/89 is $15.95 (I made an error in the 1st post saying its 17. maybe its TRU or somewhere).

The best deal I got from chapters is when someone gave me a 40 or 50%-off online code (lottery). but that's once in a blue moon. Sometimes they will have 20-30% one item in-store promo.

I guess everyone got spoiled with Zeller's famous Pestive Finale ie. 50%-off coupon fiasco.
Anyways, target is coming so let's just wait for these sets to go on clearance.

I agree with Brandon since there are part(s) that you can feel which give it away easily, may take some time but it is really not that hard. For example, the minitor, you just need to feel for the head piece...etc.

I lucked out and was able to get an Alien at Mastermind today. It could have been the spacewoman... then I just grabbed another bag randomly to see what my luck would be and I ended up with the skater girl... Liberty is the other one that I want... so I might head back tomorrow or just order from Chapters and hope for the best when it arrives?

Unbelievable. I found an over-priced "opened bag" Statue of Liberty from feebay. Our forum members could already get two clearance licensed battle box set at this price. I wish the buyer will never found out he/she has paid more than the real mkt price.
