I guess we won't see any hard-to-find sets on sale this year. Unfortunately those are what I am only interested in. I should have bought more last year. :(

i got 2 earlier in the year for $40something... they were having a bogo50 on city that stacked with their online price. no need to hit target for BF this year.

I remember when Target and Walmart used to do 50% off some random set, one year it was a big Star Wars ship, another it was a $100 Castle.

Those were the good ol' days.

I picked up this set at the end of summer clearance for $23.98.

In case any one wants one of these early without having to bother with black friday, I just found them at a local Target in Colorado and they are already ringing up at $50. There is also a coupon in the toy catalog or at Target.com for $5 off and when I used it the set rang up for $45 THEN it took off an additional $5 so the final price was $40 - half off the msrp of $80. Not sure why this happened so this could be very YMMV, but worth checking out if your Target has them in stock.
