[US] Walmart Black Friday Ad -Update pg2
Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad
Looks like same here in Canada except they are $20. Lame compared to the 1600 set for $30 couple years back. Low piece count and common colors, I will pass.

All I see is Lego Batman 2: the video game for 10.00 , Lego Duplo Bucket 4427 - 15$ and a Regular Lego Bucket (Cant make out model #) for 15$
I was hoping they would try to move some old Ninjago or maybe even LOTR but out of luck.
It looks like that both $15 Lego sets are exclusively made for Walmart
Lego Duplo Fun with bricks (Lego 4267) 85 pieces/$15 (toddler format)

Lego Fun with bricks building set (Lego 4268) 600 pieces/$15 (classic brick format)

Last black Friday- I bought 2 regular Lego creative building kits (Lego 5749) from Walmart.
It had 650 classic brick parts/$15 - with a max of 2 set per person. While 50 pieces less than
last year's, it is still a good deal. Even for duplo. Normally the best price on Duplo set runs
around 35 cents/part but the walmart price is about half of that. I'll likely buy two Duplo sets
this year and give them away to a Toy Drive charity that I've been involved with for the
last few years ( in order to *seed* the next generation of Lego users...

Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad
I need to stock up on duplo, especially at that price! Those blocks are great for filler space in large buildings, terrain etc in mocs!
Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad
No need for me, there's buckets of yellow for that.beartrapper25 wrote:I need to stock up on duplo, especially at that price! Those blocks are great for filler space in large buildings, terrain etc in mocs!

Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad -Update pg2
I wonder if the 30% off will be in store only. If not it would be a great way to get the new Hobbit sets online for a good discount...
Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad -Update pg2
Pretty sure it is instore only (which means I'll miss out - no way am I setting foot in Walmart on BF, it isn't worth it to me)
Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad -Update pg2
30% off would be good for retired sets like the LOTR helms deep or LOTR uruk-hai army sets, but with so many sets are already discounted more than 30% now at many online retailers I'm not that interested in going there on Friday.

Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad -Update pg2
Exclude clearance, but what about sets already on roll back? Interesting.
Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad -Update pg2
The 2 buckets are available online now. Free ship with $45 purchase. Maximum 2 each.
Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad -Update pg2
Geez need to wake up earlier next time, both oos.
Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad -Update pg2
was anybody able to get lego marvel game from walmart for $25? I woke up too late!!
Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad -Update pg2
Picked up a duplo box and Lego box... Each rang up $10.50! Even better deal than advertised. The duplo is a steal... If only they resold as well as Lego. Great presents for friends though!
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.
Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad -Update pg2
Looks like some of the sales prices or rollback like LR train ringing up for $62.97 but the Republic Gunship is still scanning for $79.99. You will have to plead your case at the register.
Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad -Update pg2
Must be the extra 30% off instore manager special, since regular was $15 USD. Nothing like that up here in Canada sadly. Other then the online error they made last week or so, if the 30% apply on rollbacks, you guys down there have a pretty good sale going on.Luciant wrote:Picked up a duplo box and Lego box... Got the 600 piece set for $15 online at Walmart.com. Hopefully the order processes correctly being Black Friday and all. :)
Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad -Update pg2
I was in store this morning and picked up a few sets at 30% off. The Gunship did not ring up an additional 30% off since it was already marked down to $79.99. However, the Lex Luthor and Iron Man Malibu sets were marked down and did ring up an additional 30% off the already discounted prices.

Just curious, did the sets ring up 30% after 8am your local time? Or before?zskid00 wrote:I was in store this morning and picked up a few sets at 30% off. I don't think it's accurate. The 30% is automatic but was off the original price not the rollback price.zskid00 wrote:I was in store this morning and picked up a few sets at 30% off. I checked out just after 8am local time here.
The Lex Luthor set rang up at ~$10.5 ($15 - 30%) and the Iron Man Malibu set was ~$24.50 ($35 - 30%) so they were discounted an additional 30% off the reduced prices.
