LEGO Japan Social Media Twitter has revealed the next LEGO Chinese Lunar New Year 2023 set. LEGO 40575 Year of the Rabbit is the next upcoming Zodiac animal set for the new year. The set is recommended for those that are aged 8+. It features a black and white rabbit sitting on a grass field. Lunar New Year is on January 22, 2023. On the LEGO Japan Twitter site, it claims you need to spend 9900 yen or more at the LEGO store to get it for free. 9900 yen is about $75 USD.
LEGO 40575 Year of the Rabbit will most likely be a January 2023 or February 2023 LEGO promotional gift with purchase item at LEGO Shop at Home (USA | Canada | UK | Australia).
In previous years, LEGO also gave away the Lunar New Year animal set. In 2022, they gave away the LEGO 40491 Year of the Tiger GWP set. That set was free with LEGO purchases over $85 USD / $110 CAD / £85 GBP / $169 AUD.
