Many of us knew LEGOShop.com was completely sold out on the LEGO 8683 Series 1 Collectable Minifigures last month. But these minifigures are now also officially sold out instores as well. Retailers will no longer receive additional shipments for the Series 1 Minifigures. They will receive shipments for series 2 minifigures sometime this August & September. (confirmed through several ToysRUs)
While it has been confirmed series 1 collectable minifigures has been discontinued, our forum members continues to find them at book stores and small toy stores. However, keep in mind that the price may be higher than MSRP. If your really lucky, you may still be able to find them at ToysRUs or Wal-Mart. (The ToysRUs Surrey BC store just received a shipment for 2 full boxes of minifigures!) Good luck!
