August 13 Update: We’ve removed the images as per LEGO’s request. These images apparently got leaked from the Mexican factory. They are not to be shared until October 15th, 2014 as per LEGO’s agreement with their license owner.
These new Hobbit sets will be based on the new Hobbit The Battle of the Evil Armies movie, the third and final installment of The Hobbit. The movie will be released later this year on December 2 in the UK and December 17 in the USA. This means that the sets should be available sometime during October/November.
