Toys R Us is making a comeback in the United States! After going bankrupt and shutting down most of its stores several years ago, Toys R Us USA anticipates to be opening more than 400 brick & mortar locations in the USA starting next year in 2022. These new Toys R Us format stores will be located inside a Macy’s Department store. In regards to their online business, the Toys R Us USA website will be powered by Macy’s. Toys R Us had a decent selection of LEGO toys in their Brick & Mortar stores. Although their prices sometimes have markups compared to the manufacturer suggested retail price, it was another option where you could buy LEGO. Hopefully, their prices will be competitive and not marked up when they open at Macy’s.
In other related news, Toys R Us Canada will be changing its owners again. Toys R Us Canada operations are separate from Toys R Us USA ever since Toys R Us USA went bankrupt.
