Toys R Us has opened two new stores in United States as reported by Newsweek! The first is at Westfield Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus. It had its grand opening at 10am on Saturday, November 30. The second store will open at The Galleria Mall in Houston, Texas on Sunday, December 1. These new concept toy stores range from 6000 to 6500 square feet which is smaller than the traditional 40 000 square feet stores. They will be more interactive and allow for more experimental play. 10 more stores will be opening in 2020 including a New York flagship store.
Toys R Us closed all its stores in 2018 due to bankruptcy so this is their time of coming back to the retail landscape. As we reported earlier, ToysRUs.com shopping is now functioning. However, it refers you to Target.com where you can make your purchases.
