To celebrate Chinese New Year, Toys R Us Canada is launching its own LEGO promotion where you can get a free LEGO 40355 Year of the Rat set with $88 purchase. Valid only at the participating stores shown below from January 18 to February 2, 2020. Stores are primarily located in Greater Vancouver, Victoria, Greater Toronto and Calgary.
Note that LEGO Shop at Home (USA | Canada | UK) is having a similar promotion where you can get a free LEGO Year of the Rat with purchases over $80/£80 (January 13-26). The only difference is that you have to spend $8 more at Toys R Us Canada. With that said, Toys R Us Canada does have some sales running until January 22.
