iDisplayIT LEGO Display Cases Review – 2x Modular Buildings XL H43 Display Cases #57843
iDisplayIT LEGO Display Case Shipping Box Packaging
After opening the shipping box, you get some large bubble wraps surrounding the display case.
After removing the bubble wrap, this is what you get. It’s very sturdy and well packaged.
iDisplayIT LEGO Display Case Contents
There’s a note telling you that the acrylic has a protective film. You will need to remove both sides of the film for each individual acrylic piece.
There are 6 panels in the package: 1 base in black, 5 side and top panels in clear acrylic. All the panels are protected by thin film on both sides.
It also comes with fittings and screws. Even if they come from different packages, they are all the same sides. The number of fittings and screws should be different for the display cases with different sizes. The package also comes with a piece of instruction in different languages.
iDisplayIT LEGO Display Case Building Process
Here is how the display case is built.
Step 1: Remove the protective film from both sides of each panel. A quick tip I have while building the display case is to use the tip of a scissor. Lightly scratch the side of the panel so the corner of the film comes off easily.

Step 2: Insert fittings to the side and top panels like demonstrated in the photos below:
Step 3: Place the base on a flat surface
Step 4: Place side panels on the base. Not that the top will be same size as the base. This is how you distinguish the top and the side panels.
Step 5: Insert screws to fix the case. It’s also better to have 2 people to build this so one can hold and one can tighten the screw.
Step 6: Put the top on and insert screws. Note that some smaller cases do not have screws for the top panels.
The case is very sturdy. The base and the clear display on top is not attached to each other. As such, you can just lift up the clear part to put the LEGO sets onto the base easily. The display case is airtight so its dirt proof and pet hair proof. The side and top panel is crystal clear so that the LEGO set can be viewed clearly from anywhere. The case is easy to assemble and disassemble multiple times for storage without damaging the connecting areas.
iDisplayIT LEGO Display Case – Completed Product
Here is the finished product for the iDisplayIT LEGO 2x Modular Buildings XL H43 Display Cases #57843. Look at how beautiful it is.
The two modular buildings that I would be using the display cases in this review include LEGO 10211 Grand Emporium (released in 2010) and LEGO 10251 Brick Bank (released in 2016). Note that the Grand Emporium is a three level department store and even has a banner ad at the top. This makes it a pretty tall modular building.
Here’s the side view of the LEGO 10211 Grand Emporium Modular Building.
The iDisplayIT LEGO 2x Modular Buildings XL H43 Display Cases #57843 fits very well with my two LEGO Modular Buildings.
