The Bricklink Crowdfunding Designer Program has started. The first 5 LEGO IDEAS projects to reach 3000 pre-orders will be produced. A maximum of 5 projects will be made into official LEGO sets. So far, 4 projects have already met the goal of 3000. Three of them are now completely sold out. Considering the limited quantities of only 5000 for each project, these are probably going to be worth quite a bit in the secondary market.
The expected shipping date for these official limited edition LEGO IDEAS Bricklink Designer Program sets is January 2022. You’ll get LEGO VIP Rewards points just like any orders at LEGO Shop at Home (USA | Canada | UK | Australia). However, they won’t be eligible for any gift with purchase promotions.
