It’s almost the 16th birthday and anniversary for Toys N Bricks. Happy Early Birthday Toys N Bricks!
April 17, 2009 was the day when Toys N Bricks officially launched its main website at Toysnbricks.com. A lot has changed over the years. Time really sure does fly fast. Check out some of our new site updates in this article.

16th Anniversary of Toys N Bricks Coming Up
Improving User Experience & Modernizing to 2025 Standards
To prepare for our 16th anniversary celebration, I have been working on rebranding the site as well as the Toys N Bricks brand. You may have noticed some changes on our front page at Toysnbricks.com.
I’m working on modernizing the site to make it more user friendly, while at the same time ensuring a clean and easy to navigate site.
Shown below is the new Toys N Bricks homepage as of April 2025.
Toysnbricks Home Page Website Layout
At the very top of the site are the three most recent published LEGO articles (across all categories including, but not limited to news and sales updates).
There’s some new areas after that like the Editor’s Pick section. This is the area where I highlight some of my favorite recent LEGO articles.
The website is further organized below by several main sections including Latest LEGO News, Latest LEGO Sales Updates, Upcoming LEGO Events (scroll right or left), Latest LEGO Product Availability and finally, LEGO Creations.
There’s also some other small areas where I’ve made changes. But the major ones were pretty much the layout.
Shown below is the new Toys N Bricks homepage as of April 2025.
If you are wondering what’s the difference from the past, you can have a look at the image below. Essentially, there were only four featured articles at the very top.
Shown below is the old Toys N Bricks homepage as of March 31, 2025.
LEGO Forums and ShopToysnbricks
We now have three sites including Toysnbricks.com (LEGO News & Sales Updates), Toysnbricksforum.com (LEGO Forum Discussions) and ShopToysnbricks.com (Online Web Store). Over the last few months, I’ve been working more on developing the other two sites (forums and online web store) as well as strengthening our social media channels.
That said, I am actively considering merging the forums and online store into the main Toys N Bricks website domain portfolio. There would be no impact for our readers and forum members.
ShopToysnbricks
As of today, all of the orders placed have all been shipped out and you should receive the items soon. Thank you for your support and for your purchase.
For ShopToysnbricks.com used/built once LEGO toys, the listed item is correct as per my collector inventory list. That said, I need to do a physical check to ensure that all the minifigures are there (for used/built once LEGO toys). If there are missing minifigures and the listing didn’t state it, we will contact you and most likely refund you the difference for the used market value of the missing minifigures.
Speaking of which, ShopToysnbricks will not be the primary focus for me going forward. The store will still be online and operational. It will also only ship to the United States as well. I may add a few more items and maybe some more digital downloads but that’s about it.
The store is another level of work in terms of time commitment required. I have a lot on my plate already and I think it’s better for me to focus more and provide better service on the Toys N Bricks website, the forums and social media.
LEGO Forums
The LEGO Forums at Toysnbricksforum.com is here to stay. Be sure to register for a free forum member account. Registration is free and fast. Also, as a perk, there’s no banner advertisements over there. Just fast website loading. ;)
We also have a new contest coming up and we will talk about it further below.
New LEGO Building Contest Up & Running
To celebrate the 16th anniversary of Toys N Bricks, we have the LEGO Star Wars Micro Building Contest going on right now. The contest runs from April 1 to May 31, 2025 and it has some great LEGO Star Wars set prizes! Registering is free.
Toys N Bricks Founder Updates
I took three months off (January to March 2025) from my full-time 40 hours/week day job. It was mainly to prepare for the wedding/vacation in January 2025 as well as try to spend more time/work full time on Toys N Bricks. As such, you may have seen more activities, new changes and improvements to our website operations.
I will be returning back to my full time 40 hours/week day job in early April 2025. Rest assure that all operational services would remain at Toys N Bricks.
You can expect the same great LEGO news and sales updates as usual. I’m committed to providing service excellence and the highest level of quality care for all of our readers.
Last, but not least, thanks for being a reader and for supporting us over these years. Keep being awesome. (:
