Disney Plus is a new video streaming service that was launched on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Its available in Canada, America, and the Netherlands. On November 19, 2019, it will be available in Australia and New Zealand. On March 31, 2020, it will be available in various European countries including United Kingdom, France and Germany.
The Disney Plus app features varies Walt Disney movies as well as movies from other themes such as 21st Century Fox, Star Wars, Pixar, National Geographic and Marvel Super Heroes. The app has been downloaded more than 3.2 million times and already has 10 million plus subscribers on the first day.
Disney Plus is available for $6.99 per month or $69.99 annually. This price is based in USD. There is a free 7 day trial period. This will be a direct competition with other video streaming services such as Netflix. (via theverge and Disney Plus)
