West Edmonton Mall in Alberta is opening a new LEGO Brand Retail Store. This is Canada’s largest mall. The official opening date will be Friday, November 13, 2020. To ensure there is COVID distancing and safety protocols, certain features have been removed. This is the second LEGO Brand Retail Store in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, the third LEGO Brand Retail Store in the province of Alberta and the twelveth LEGO Brand Retail Store in Canada.
Store Manager Miranda Maclean – I have to work with the mall to see what we will do with the lineup but I want to make sure we’re controlling it because I don’t want people to congregate in front of the store,” she said. “We will use a wait-list app so it avoids having people lining up. We can actually send (people) away, they can go continue their shopping and then we can message them to bring them back when it’s their time to come into the store.
